Dementia - Dealing with Challenging Behaviour 

This course on Dementia has been designed to help you understand about dealing with agitation, psychosis and depression in people with dementia and also how to deal with challenging behaviours using a person-centred approach. 

This has been developed using the latest guidance from the medical and nursing Royal Colleges, the Department of Health and the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). 

The course covers:

  • Cognitive tests 
  • Agitation and psychosis 
  • Depression and dementia 
  • Supporting carers 
  • Dealing with challenging behaviours using a person-centred approach 
  • Identifying solutions

HL Services offers CPD Accredited and Certificated online training courses following the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). 

The online nature of the courses means that they are cheaper, but do not compromise the quality.
