About the course
Slips and trips are the biggest cause of serious injuries to people who work in catering and hospitality. Many result in broken bones or worse. Slips and trips can happen anywhere but most accidents happen in and around the kitchen. If you are a catering assistant, chef, cook, and waiter or bar worker, you are most at risk. You have a legal duty to look after yourself and your colleagues at work.
Learning Outcomes: This course will cover the following topics; Why slips and trips are a problem, Why they happen and How you can help to stop them.
